Against All Odds Against All Comers was a project for my podcasting class in the spring of 2024. I wanted to encapsulate all of the storylines and drama that surrounded the 2021 Braves and their march to glory during the 2021 season that ended with a World Series title. I also took it as an opportunity to tell my story about how it helped me overcome the grief of losing my father in the winter of 2019.
At the beginning of the fall semester of 2024 my advisor Dr. Joe Dennis informed me that he had entered my podcast into the National Collegiate Media Awards as the schools entrant. I was honored and come October my podcast about the Braves and my dad became award winning capturing second place amongst DIII schools nationwide.
